Last Updated: October 2026. We believe student data belongs exclusively to students and their chartered institutions. We never sell, broker, or monetize your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
To deliver single sign-on access across our 7 platforms, we collect:
- Identity Credentials: Name, university email address, college affiliation, department, and graduation year.
- Verification Badges: Digital Smart Pass hashes, attendance records generated at gate scanners, and exam completion metrics.
- Ecosystem Wallet Ledger: Cryptographic records of earned and spent Pi Coins, daily check-in streaks, and peer referrals.
2. Zero Third-Party Advertising Policy
PiTechPedia operates on an enterprise SaaS subscription model supported by university partners and verified event registrations. We do not display third-party behavioral ads, embed surveillance tracking pixels, or sell student profiles to marketing brokers.
3. Cryptographic Storage & Encryption
All passwords are encrypted with Argon2id hashing. Pass tokens and certificates use SHA-256 HMAC digital signatures. Data in transit is secured by TLS 1.3 encryption with Perfect Forward Secrecy.
4. Student Rights & Data Portability
Every student retains full rights to export their cryptographic portfolio, certificate proofs, and wallet ledger at any time. To request complete data erasure or portfolio export, email our Data Protection Officer at privacy@pitechpedia.com.
